Inspired by [link] mech7's awesome "Dark Battle Droid". Here's his version:
[link] Though the colors are similar, it's not a copy. (So hopefully I won't get royalty demands) At any rate, I customized the battle droid a bit. I never really was a fan of battle droids in the prequel films, they just weren't intimidating enough. I mean think about it... bloodless automated killing machines! But their aim is even lousier than that of a stormtrooper and just walk around going "roger roger" or "uh oh". I tried to make the deisgn more like that featured in Star Wars: Republic Commando, I personally think it looks scarier. Still, nothing tops seeing a Super Battle Droid in that game, they're ridiculously hard to kill. At any rate, this model has a built in FLAMETHROWER on its right hand. Why's that? Because I screwed up the angle on the blaster it was holding. As always, comments and critiques are much appreciated. Personally, my favorite battle droids are the Droidekas... but they're a bit tiresome for me to draw right now. Too detailed!
